The 12 Coolest Air Max 95 Colorways of All Time

Did you know that the Nike brand was launched in 1972? If you are a Nike fan and are considering picking up a new pair of Air Max 95 kicks, you’re in the right place. We have put together this short guide to share the coolest Air Max 95 shoes you can choose from.

The 12 Coolest Air Max 95 Colorways of All Time

Read on to learn the top color schemes of all time.

1. Air Max 95 Lemon Lime

These sneakers were released this year (2022) on April 16th. The name comes from the green and yellow accents that are featured on the side rails of the sneaker. The popular Air Max unit is on the midsole and the logo is featured on the tongue.

The designers have added black embellishments to help complement the green, yellow, and white colors. The outsole is made out of rubber and this is black as well.

Currently, this Air Max 95 sneaker is costing around $180.

2. Country Camo

This Air Max 95 design was inspired by the military and was released in 2013. Nike’s Hyperfuse technology replaced the suede uppers and the usual mesh.

The entire sneaker is a military green camo design and the soles are solid green.

3. Z

The Air Max 95 Z is one of the more unique Nike designs. It was released in 2001 and was the first time a zipper replaced the usual shoelaces. The sneaker doesn’t have any of the usual mesh and there are different color schemes to choose from.

There are all black ones, black and gold, red, or a mix of yellow, orange, and white.

4. The Running Man

Nike collaborated with Parra in 2008 and released the Running Man design. The color scheme is composed of Parra’s signature colors including black, pink, red, blue, and white. The sneaker was designed as a nod to Amsterdam.

5. Air Max Day

In 2020, this style was launched to celebrate Nike’s annual Air Max Day. The sneakers are made up of a variety of iconic Air Max themes to honor 20 different Air Max 95 styles in tribute to the 20 years that the Air Max had been in business.

The style features designs from a safari print to a speckled coated midsole and different colors in celebration of Air Max 95.

6. Valentine’s

In 2006, Nike released this style that was a huge hit with the ladies. They are mainly red sneakers with white soles, shoelaces, and tongue. This is one of the few Air Max 95s that you will see with so much red as the main color.

7. Doernbecher

Every year there is a sneaker design where all the proceeds from its sales go directly to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland. What makes the shoes even more special is the fact that they are designed by the kids that are already receiving treatments at the hospital.

The Mike Armstrong x Nike Air Max 95 Doernbecher released in 2007 is one of the most popular models because it was a patriotic design in honor to Mike’s brother who was oversees serving in Iraq at that time. The sneakers are mainly blue, and the patterned design at the bottom is a mix of red and white squares.

7. University Red

In 2019 another pair of red Air Max’s hit the market during the collaboration with Supreme. The sneakers were crafted in Italy and they are made of the best leather material found in Italy. The price tag on this model is a lot higher because of the leather, but the higher price didn’t matter to Air Max fans because they sold out almost instantly when they were released.

8. Animal Pack

This is a fun safari-inspired design where 6 different materials from pony fur were used. There are leopard spots, zebra stripes, and even a vibrant pink of a flamingo featured on the sneakers.

Animal Pack was launched in 2018 and it definitely makes people look twice when they notice the fur material mixed with distinct prints in one shoe.

9. Triple Black

In 2019 the triple black was released featuring three different shades of black. Although, it is not the most unique design style for Air Max, it quickly became a staple because who doesn’t love an all black sneaker that matches every colored outfit?

10. Ultra Gray Yellow

This was the first Air Max to mix gray and yellow. The main color is gray and the Nike logo is in yellow accents. There are 3M reflective designs on the lacing loops as well, and Air Max cushioning in the black rubber soles.

The Ultra Gray Yellow colorway launched on September 10, 2021.

11. WIP Camo

In 2018, Carhartt’s classic workwear theme showed up in the WIP Camo Air Max 95 design. This design is a duck camo print with black accents. The sole is white and there are bright orange accents on the sole along with the mini Nike Swoosh in an orange accent.

Carhartt’s logo is stamped on the tongue of the sneaker.

12. Pink Foam

During the 25th anniversary the Pink Foam was released AKA the Gunsmoke Pink. Kim Kardashian helped bring these sneakers into the limelight when she wore them soon after filing for divorce from Kanye West in 2020.

After she wore them, the search for Pink Air Max 95 went up by a few thousand percent.
